鶹ֱ Golf Classic drives record proceeds for students

Once again, 鶹ֱ supporters swung high to help deserving students as the 33rd 鶹ֱ Golf Classic, presented by , secured more than $205,000 in proceeds.
Golfers get taste of 鶹ֱ experience
This year’s tournament, hosted at on May 23, provided golfers with a uniquely 鶹ֱ experience.
Golfers began the day at a massage station, hosted by Massage Therapy students, and were treated to tasty delights prepared by Culinary Management students. They also had the chance to interact with students in a range of programs across the two golf courses at Bond Head.
鶹ֱ experience ‘not out of reach for anyone’
Graham Ferguson, committee co-chair, added they were “honoured” to devote their time to supporting students by helping to raise much-needed funds for 鶹ֱ students.
“Ensuring that the 鶹ֱ experience is not out of reach for anyone who wants to pursue their dreams and launch an exciting career was an amazing goal to work towards,” he said.
The Golf Classic was supported by a volunteer committee, which included co-chairs Wallwin and Ferguson, along with community members Steve Arsenault (class of 2002), Kimberly Brent, Marjorie Cook, John Daggett, Alex Daley, Courtney Duthie (classes of 2014 and 2017), Bryan Howcroft, Nicole Murphy, Hank Thibideau and Bill Wogden.
